Q. What type of CEU credits do you offer?
Accident Reconstructionists: 15 CEUs
Accountants:

NOTE: If your specialty does not appear above and you desire credits, please contact Karen Babitsky (781-261-9972 or Karen@seak.com). We can often obtain desired credits upon request, but unfortunately, obtaining some types of credits are not feasible. Please register early, as we can only apply for credits after your registration form has been received and it can take time to get the requested approvals back from the accrediting agencies.
Q. If I register for the main conference, do I have to pay extra to attend pre-conferences?
A. Yes, the pre-conferences are not included.
Q. How many pre-conferences can I choose?
A. One pre-conference per day.
Q. Why can I only attend one pre-conference per day?
A. The pre-conferences are full day workshops (approximately 7:30am-4:30pm).
Q. If I change my mind, can I switch my pre-conference at a later date?
A. Yes. If you would like to make
changes to your current registration, please send us a fax
requesting
the changes. After the changes
have been made, you will receive a new confirmation in the mail.
Q. When do I have to decide which breakout session I want to attend?
A. The day of the conference.
Q. Can I receive credits for past years attended?
A. For the National Expert Witness
Conference, only CLE credits were offered in years prior to 2007. It
is still possible to receive these credits as long as SEAK has a
completed evaluation form on file.
Q. Does SEAK offer any discounts?
A. A 20% will be applied to two (2) or more attendees registering together prior to April 1st, 2007.
Q. Will the 20% discount be applied to pre-conferences also, or just the main conference?
A. The 20% discount will also be applied to pre-conferences.
Q. Does SEAK offer this conference anywhere other than Cape Cod?
A. No, this specific conference is
only offered on Cape Cod. However, SEAK does sponsor the FEWA Expert
Witness Summit which is held in Newport Beach, CA.
Q. Are there any 5 star hotels in the area?
A. No, there are no 5 star hotels within 50 miles of the conference site.
Q. When is the cutoff date for registration?
A.
While there is no formal cutoff date for registration, early
registration is highly recommended. We have a
very liberal
cancellation policy if you are subsequently forced to cancel your
registration.
Q. Can I receive a refund if I need to cancel?
A. Attendees canceling prior to June 1st, 2007 may receive a full refund.
Q. Will I be able to purchase audio or video recordings of the conference?
A. No. SEAK prohibits the use of
audio or video recordings of the conference (Exception: prior
approval will
be given for attendees with disabilities).
