Executive Summary |
|
This is a full day course for non-lawyers. At this
specialized and interactive pre-conference, participants will explore
the real-life employment law issues with which they must deal in the
workplace daily. It is no longer the hypothetical case of what to do if
you get sued, but rather what to do when you get sued. Creating the
right infrastructure in terms of documentation and training may make all
the difference in the survival of your career and your employer. As the
workforce becomes more diverse and state and federal laws continue to
evolve and become more complex; what were once acceptable employment
practices may now be considered unlawful or imprudent. These practices
may unwittingly expose you or your organization to adverse financial,
regulatory, or public relations consequences. Ms Lester’s unique
understanding of professional practices and businesses allows her to
assist employers and employees to anticipate issues and adopt
preventative strategies with time-sensitive, cost-effective solutions
that are in sync with their objectives, priorities, and strategic plans. |
