Steven W. Leclair, PhD, CRC is the Executive Director of Community Partners, Inc., a large non-profit organization in Maine supporting the residential, vocational, health care, and social needs of persons with developmental disabilities. He is also a principal and senior consultant with The Leclair Company, LLC. Steve is a licensed psychologist and a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor with more than 25 years of professional experience as a consultant, clinician, educator, researcher and administrator. Dr. Leclair is an accomplished clinical and program evaluation specialist and an internationally recognized expert on program development and policy related to disability, rehabilitation and work. Dr. Leclair was formerly the Vice President of National Rehabilitation Planners, Director of Research for the International Center for Industry, Labor and Rehabilitation; and Center and Clinical Director of Southwest Community Health Center in Central Ohio. As faculty member at The Ohio State University, he developed and coordinated the graduate program in Rehabilitation Counseling. Dr. Leclair has authored more than 35 publications including books, book chapters, articles, and monographs related to health care, disability prevention, and work. He has also presented more than 40 professional papers on various health care and rehabilitation topics at state, regional, national, and international meetings. During the last 20 years, Dr. Leclair has applied for and was awarded more than $14,000,000 in grants and contracts from federal and state agencies and private foundations to fund program, demonstration, and research projects. Steve earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Maine and Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy Degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Iowa.
