Advanced Testifying Skills-The Jury Trial Program Preconference

SUMMARY: After receiving numerous requests, SEAK is pleased to introduce a special new preconference for 2010: Advanced Testifying Skills: The Jury Trial Program. SEAK’s Jury Trial Program consists of a full day’s worth of mock direct and cross-examinations in front of a judge and jury.This unique format allows for a superior level of both realism and feedback. At the conclusion of each mock direct and cross examination the faculty will query the judge and jury in a focus group format to elicit constructive feedback aimed at improving the expert’s effectiveness. The lessons learned will be presented to the group and discussed. Advanced Testifying Skills: The Jury Trial Program is designed to be taken in conjunction with Advanced Testifying Skills: The Masters Program. The fact patterns utilized will be based upon the reports submitted and critiqued for the November 12-13, 2010 course Advanced Testifying Skills: The Masters Program.

The Jury Trial Program faculty features SEAK attorneys Steve Babitsky and Jim Mangraviti, U.S. District Court Judge David M. Lawson (E.D. Michigan), and a panel of 6 jurors. This is a unique, limited attendance, high intensity learning opportunity. Registrations will be accepted on a first come basis. Early registration is highly recommended. Please note that continuing education credits are not offered in conjunction with this preconference. The Jury Trial Program runs from 8:00am until 4:30pm. Continental breakfast and lunch is included with each registration. This is an advanced course designed for experienced experts.

Tuition for Advanced Testifying Skills - The Jury Trial Program is $645.
Tuition for Advanced Testifying Skills for Experts: The Master’s Program is $1,295.

Cancellations received in writing before October 15, 2010 will receive a full refund. Persons canceling after October 15, 2010 will not receive a refund, but will be provided with the seminar course book.
